Campus Involvement

ALL CAMPUS EVENTS (ACE)
The ACE Committee hosts several events throughout the year that many UT organizations participate in. ACE coordinates campus-wide events that have becoming long-standing UT traditions, including Homecoming, All-Sing and Carnicus. These events are a huge part of Phi Mu each year, and we enjoy pairing up with other chapters to compete for the ACE cup!

For The Kids UTK (FTK)
FTK, previously known as Dance Marathon, is a campus-wide fundraiser held in the spring for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. For The Kids, the largest student-run philanthropy on campus, has been held at UT every year since 1995 and to-date has raised more than $900,000.

UT is one of 77 colleges and universities around the country participating in the Children’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon program. The event is the culmination of a year of fundraising for the hematology and oncology clinic at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.

Every year, Phi Mu enjoys participating to support our philanthropy, East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. Dance Marathon has many different activities throughout the night including: concerts, games, theme hours, and carnivals with the children from the hospital.

RELAY FOR LIFE
Relay for Life, which raises money for the American Cancer Society, is held in Circle Park in the spring. Relay For Life is a all night walk-a-thon and the largest fundraiser on UT's campus! Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the fun for a good cause!

Throughout the night there are events such as: a Luminary Ceremony, cancer Jeopardy game, scavenger hunts, theme hours, and bands.

GREEK WEEK

Greek Week is an annual event sponsored by the Panhellenic and the Interfraternity Councils. Fraternities and sororities are paired up to compete against other Greek organizations for the Greek Week Cup! Popular events include Greek Olympic games, can tower competition, bed races, and the huge All Greek cookout. The week also includes the construction of a house for Habitat for Humanity. All money raised during the week goes to a local charity.
